Chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Finance, the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Awqaf holds its twenty-fifth meeting

His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Endowments, Mr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, chaired today, Sunday, 4 Ramadan 1444 AH, the twenty-fifth meeting of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Endowments, in the presence of the Governor of the Authority, Mr. Imad bin Saleh Al-Kharashi, and their Excellencies the members of the Council.

During the meeting, the Board discussed some topics on its agenda, most notably the investment performance report of the Awqaf Investment Company (the investment arm of the Authority) for the fiscal year 2022 AD, and the results of the Authority's strategic performance indicators for the year 2022 AD. It also approved the Authority's financial statements for the fiscal year 2022 AD and the annual report for the same year. He was briefed on the progress of work on the draft endowment sector strategy and updating the Authority's strategy.

The Council concluded its meeting by stressing the importance of the endowment sector and its active role in development plans and programs, and its contributions to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
